Original artist’s proof of Irwin Rosenhouse’s color etching “Eve,” depicting the snake curling around Eve's body to bring the apple to her mouth. Cooper Union professor and Greenwich Village gallerist Rosenhouse (1924-2002) was a prolific painter, printmaker, and illustrator, best known for his album covers for Folkways Records and his iconic 1968 “peace dove” design. A fine signed etching.
