Limited edition of this tribute to the decorative arts of the Bloomsbury group, one of one hundred copies signed by artist Alice Pattullo. A memento of a visit to Charleston, the East Sussex country house of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, this vibrant concertina book takes its inspiration from the furniture, textiles, gardens and murals created by members of the Bloomsbury group during the 1920s and 1930s. The folding postcard format recalls the souvenir postcard panoramas popular in midcentury English seaside towns, while the vivid color printing is a nod to the craftsmanship of the Omega Workshops under the supervision of Bell, Grant, and Roger Fry. Both the trade and signed limited editions of A Bloomsbury Souvenir are out of print. A fine copy, signed by Pattullo, with the accompanying suite of six individual postcards.
