First edition of this feminist coloring book, published by the National Women’s Hall of Fame, featuring portraits of notable American women. Subjects include Abigail Adams, Harriet Tubman, Clara Barton, Susan B. Anthony, Amelia Earhart, and Margaret Mead. The final page is left blank, with instructions to the reader: “Draw and color the famous person you will be someday. Write a description of your famous accomplishments and great deeds.” Though specified as Volume I, this appears to be the only number in the series. OCLC locates three holdings in the United States. A near-fine example.
